|Casa D’angelo To Host Jankara Wine Dinner
Fort Lauderdale’s finest Italian restaurant, Casa D’Angelo, owned and operated by nationally-acclaimed Chef Angelo Elia, is pleased to invite guests to enjoy a dinner paired with wines from Jankara Winery, a winery co-owned by Chef Angelo.
Jankara Winery, located in Sardinia, Italy, produces its wine from 100% Vermentino grapes grown on the Jankara Estate.
Jankara, Vermentino di Gallura and Jankara, Lu Nieddu. Gallura is the only DOCG (the highest classification for Italian wines) production area in all of Italy for Vermentino. The climate, soil, altitude and location of the Jankara winery contributes to the complex and aromatic tastes of these wines.
Guests will enjoy four delicious courses of authentic Italian cuisine carefully crafted to complement each Jankara wine pairing.
The evening will be hosted by Chef Angelo Elia and Jankara’s winemaker, Gianni Menotti, who was named Winemaker of the Year by both Gambero Rosso in 2006 and Bibenda in 2012, he is only one in four winemakers to ever achieve this honor from both publications.
