WILTON MANORS, FL – Chocolate will be on tap as JP’s Chocolate Shoppe and 26° Brewing Company team-up for a beer and chocolate pairing event on Wednesday, April 13 at 7 p.m. This first-time gourmet outing will feature an assortment of decadent treats alongside world-class craft beers that are brewed on-site.

“JP’s Chocolate Shoppe is thrilled to bring new, flavorful experiences to South Florida,” said JP Cobleigh, owner of JP’s Chocolate Shoppe. “Our fine assortment of chocolates will complement the variety of craft beers featured and brewed at 26° Brewing Company.”

Attendees will sample four dedicated couplings, including dark chocolate truffles with sea salt paired with Ziko’s Rage Imperial Stout and dark chocolate dipped bacon dusted with chipotle powder paired with Scotch Ness Monster Scotch Ale. Attendees will also have the option to purchase additional growlers and chocolates to continue their palette research at home.

“We cannot wait to bring this pairing event to 26° Brewing Company,” said Michael Burgess Jr., taproom general manager for 26° Brewing Company. “This is a great opportunity for us to work with another local business owner and further our position as an up-and-coming brewery in South Florida.”

Before and after the event, chocolate-lovers can stop by JP’s Chocolate Shoppe in Wilton Manors to take advantage of its renowned selection of truffles, creams, caramels and dipped items, including pretzels, fruits and berries.

As one of the largest brewing facilities in South Florida, 26° Brewing Company has 30 tap handles, a mix of local and national craft brews as well as ten standard and rotating seasonal beers, including flagship brews such as Captain Ron Hefeweizen, IPA1A, Tri County Common Lager, Baseline Pale Ale, The Brown Eye Brown IPA, Scotch Ness Monster and Ziko’s Rage Imperial Stout.
