FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Acclaimed Italian-born chef and restaurateur Angelo Elia, whose impressive roster of dining establishments includes three Casa D’Angelo restaurants, as well as a growing chain of Angelo Elia Pizza, Bar & Tapas, is pleased to announce that he is expanding again by opening Angelo Elia The Bakery Bar in Fort Lauderdale. Angelo Elia The Bakery Bar is located at 2104 East Oakland Park Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The menu features the finest authentic Italian pastries, breads, sandwiches, gelatos and coffees, all expertly crafted from recipes handed down through generations of Italian chefs. Delicacies include Breakfast Pastries, Croissant Paninis, Tramezzinis (soft bread Italian sandwiches), Rustic Paninis, Piadines (folded Italian flatbread, a specialty from Northern Italy) and Sicilian Pan Pizza. Guests can enjoy a meal, catch a game or wind down the evening with a glass of wine or an espresso. Chef Angelo Elia invites guests to gather around the table and enjoy a cappuccino or quick bite.
Angelo Elia The Bakery Bar provides counter service only. In addition to serving coffees and espressos, an eclectic wine, champagne and beer list is also offered. This traditional Italian bakery/cafe is more casual than Chef Elia’s other concepts featuring indoor and outdoor seating in 2,000 square foot space which will accommodate approximately 50 guests. The bakery has employed 15-20 employees and opened the first week of July.
