FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Funding Arts Broward (FAB!), a non-profit volunteer-based arts organization committed to preserving and cultivating the arts in Broward County, will present its next luncheon, “Emerging Trends in the Arts” with special guest Randy Cohen, Vice President of Research and Policy at Americans for the Arts. This fun and educational luncheon will be held on Thursday, October 20 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Broward Center for the Performing Arts’ Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom.

“FAB! is proud to present the upcoming luncheon program as part of our commitment to our loyal members and the community at large,” said Jayne Mills, president of FAB!. “Events such as this are a great opportunity for FAB! members to connect with the arts community and work together to promote art and culture in Broward County.”

Randy will speak on emerging trends in the arts and discuss how new technologies are being used to engage a broader audience. His past experience includes work as a policy specialist for the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as founder and managing director of the San Diego Theatre for Young Audiences. Randy is a prominent expert in arts funding, research and policy with the know-how of how to integrate the arts. Guests will enjoy opening and closing performances courtesy of Florida Children’s Theatre.
