Broward County Issues Cold-Weather Advisory for March 1 - 4
The National Weather Service forecasts low temperatures, including wind chill, in the low to-mid 40's in Broward metro areas overnight on Friday, March 1; overnight on Saturday, March 2; and overnight on Sunday, March 3, 2013.
Because of this forecast, Broward County has declared a multi-night Cold-Weather Emergency from: 6:30 P.M. Friday, March 1, 2013 until 7:00 A.M. Saturday, March 2, 2013; from 6:30 P.M. Saturday March 2, 2013 until 7:00 A.M. Sunday, March 3, 2103; and from 6:30 P.M. Sunday, March 3, 2013 until 7:00 A.M. Monday, March 4, 2013.
Persons experiencing Homelessness are advised to report to the following Pickup and/or Shelter locations (map attached), no later than 6:30 P.M. on Friday; Saturday; and Sunday nights for transportation or access to special cold night shelters:

However, if the weather forecast changes to predict warmer or colder conditions, cold weather emergency shelter nights may be cancelled or extended. If there are changes to this declaration, they will be issued no later than 1:00 P.M. on the date of the event.
