Jennifer WieczorekJennifer Wieczorek. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), Florida Chapter is proud to announce that Jennifer Wieczorek has been named Development Director for the South Florida Chapter.

Wieczorek has been with the nonprofit for more than one year managing the Take Steps Walks across South Florida. To date, she has helped to raise over $400,000 for the only organization dedicated to finding a cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. In this new role she will oversee four signature events in South Florida: Putt an End to Crohn's & Colitis Golf Classic (October 2014), Passport to Paradise (November 2014), Book of Hope (March 2015), and Keymorada Invitational Fly Spin Tournament (May 2015). Additionally, she will work with sponsors and major donors to raise funds to find a cure for the debilitating diseases that affect more than 1.4 millionAmericans as well as increase awareness and educate the community about what Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis are.

Prior to joining CCFA, Wieczorek worked with a number of other nonprofit organizations, most recently the Humane Society of Broward County where she lead the Walk for the Animals, one of the largest walks in Broward County. In her three years with the organization, Wieczorek raised more than $1.5 million. She has also worked with the National Breast Cancer Organization where worked on national cause marketing partnerships.
