Rebuilding Together Broward County’s Veterans Housing Initiative was created to meet the growing needs of veterans from past and present wars. The initiative serves to fill the gaps in housing modifications and repair services that retired and active service men and women struggle to meet. Working in partnership with corporate sponsors, RTBC’s Veterans Housing Initiative strives to provide safe and accessible housing for all low-income veterans.

“The inaugural M.A.S.H. Bash is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy great food and a fun-filled evening for a very important cause – providing safe and accessible housing for our veterans. When our event chair Alyssa Lovitt came to me with the idea I knew that it was perfect for our mission. We have been providing services to veterans for over 10 years and are thrilled to be able to recognize some of our strongest partners” said Sandra Veszi Einhorn, Rebuilding Together Broward County Executive Director.

About Rebuilding Together Broward County
Since 2003, Rebuilding Together Broward County has rehabilitated more than 400 homes and community centers, investing more than $4 million into the community. The non-profit organization brings volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low income homeowners. Targeting low income elderly and disabled homeowners, as well as veterans, Rebuilding Together Broward seeks to improve health outcomes through housing activities such as home repairs, safety modifications and energy retrofits at no cost to the homeowners.  While Rebuilding Together Broward assists needy homeowners year-round, they also organize their signature event, "National Rebuilding Day" held on the last Saturday in April. Volunteers, sponsors, private sector, municipal agencies, civic organizations and many others get together to refurbish homes and non-profit facilities in the community.
