FORT LAUDERDALE, Fl – 2-1-1 Broward hosted an engaging CLUB 211 Connecting Event at Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, June 13th. The CLUB 211 Event Ambassadors were Gregory Haile, General Counsel and VP of Public Policy and Government Affairs with Broward College and Bob Birdsong, President/CEO of OK Generators.

Guests had the opportunity to network with other CLUB 211 members as they enjoyed wine and hors d’oeuvres. During the evening, the Event Ambassadors spoke about the impactful services that 2-1-1 Broward provides for the community through its 24/7 comprehensive helpline for individuals seeking crisis intervention assistance, emotional support, information and referrals to health and human services in Broward County. Club 211 is sponsored by Brown & Brown Insurance and Memorial Healthcare System and the event was sponsored by Kip Hunter Marketing.

CLUB 211 was created to expand 2-1-1 Broward’s mission of “connecting” by offering exclusive networking opportunities for local professionals and individuals to meet at different venues throughout Broward County. While connecting to others, CLUB 211 members also get acquainted with the work of 2-1-1 Broward and the ways in which the organization serves them and the entire community. Money raised through each membership, $211 per year, is used to help support the general operations of

2-1-1 Broward.
