Teen Ambassadors participate in educational workshops with touring artists, write reviews, share their experiences via social media and see live performances in every genre. Last year's class wrote more than 100 reviews and used social media to discuss their experiences with approximately 10,000 friends.

Cooper City High School student Sarah Sharpe said at the end of the 2013–14 session, "I can honestly say that being a Teen Ambassador has been the highlight of my high school career. When I applied to this program, my mind was only set on becoming an actress on Broadway. I've now learned how exciting every single aspect of theater is and have discovered new talents, such as critiquing, which has led me to being appointed as next year's entertainment editor for my high school newspaper."

Since its inception in 2010, the Teen Ambassador Program has given nearly 100 students tickets to performances and provided behind-the-scenes knowledge of the arts at the Broward Center, which is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 venues in the world.

This year's program will be held from September 2014 through May 30, 2015. Each student will earn community service hours for participating in the program.

Applicants must be high school students residing in Broward, Palm Beach or Miami-Dade County as of August 18. They must attend one meeting per month at the Broward Center, maintain a minimum "B" average in school, have access to a computer and at least one social media account, and be willing to promote the Broward Center and its presentations through social media and grass roots activities;.
