Calling all teachers! BrightStar Credit Union will host Teacher Open House @ YAA on Friday, September 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Young At Art Museum, 751 SW 121 Avenue in Davie. Free for teachers, with valid teacher ID, and their families, the open house is being held just in time to celebrate the new school year.  There will be tours of the Museum and educators will have the opportunity to learn about all that YAA has to offer, including programs, school field trips and more.

The open house will feature:

• Creative art workshops including, One-in-the-World Mono Print Portraits, Fantastic Fabric Landscapes, Go JPOP Accessories, and more!
• A special guest presentation
• A prize-winning game
• Open Studio visits to the Ceramics, Digital, Photo Lab, and Painting studios
• A Sample school tour & workshop, and more!
• Also, join the YAA Teacher Membership program, free, to receive a goodie-bag from BrightStar and become eligible to win a YAA ArtPACK!

Participants also will have a chance to visit YAA’s newest exhibition, Colorful Rebellion – Seventh Nightmare, installed by the world-famous Japanese Harajuku pop artist  Sebastian Masuda.
