FORT LAUDERDALE – The free outdoor JM Lexus Sunday Jazz Brunch live concert series returns on Sunday, August 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. along the New River in Fort Lauderdale’s scenic Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District.
Everyone is invited to bring their blankets, chairs and picnic baskets along with well-behaved, leashed pets to the Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District for one of Fort Lauderdale’s most popular community events. Appearing at this month’s event are Dizzy Blue on the Peck Courtyard stage at the Broward Center, TK Blu Band on the Esplanade Stage and Tim Bluntson Band at the Connie Hoffman Gazebo.
Audiences can also enjoy a new dining experience at the Broward Center during JM Lexus Sunday Jazz Brunch at Marti’s New River Bistro. Located on the first level of the Huizenga Pavilion with stunning waterfront views, this on-site restaurant offers an artful menu and a fully appointed bar. Brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with delectable menu items including the Bistro BLT with candied bacon, jumbo lump crab cake eggs Benedict, fried chicken and maple waffles and more. The Broward Center for the Performing Arts welcomes Jazz Brunch attendees to take a free, behind-the-scenes tour of the theater. Tours are scheduled at the beginning of Jazz Brunch and depart at 11:15 a.m. Those interested in joining a tour should sign up by 11 a.m. in the main lobby of the Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center. Parking for the JM Lexus Sunday Jazz Brunch is available at the county garage located on S.W. 2nd Street between S.W. 2nd Avenue and Brickell Avenue or at the Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District parking garage at S.W. Fifth Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
