FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – ArtServe becomes the hottest destination for holiday shopping, where art lovers and gift givers can discover one-of-a-kind creations by the area’s top artists in “unWRAPPED: A Curated Collection of Art + Gifts” from Wednesday, December 16 through Wednesday, December 30, 2015.

The annual all-member showcase features a variety of styles, media and artistic techniques including wearable art, paintings, sculpture, textile, photography and more.

Admission to the gallery reception on Thursday, December 17 from 6 – 8 p.m. is free. During the reception all items will be reduced 15 percent and a free ArtServe T-shirt will be given with every purchase over $50. Free gift wrapping and gift certificates are also available. 

“This is affordable art and all of these creative and original pieces can move immediately from the gallery right into the home or workplace, literally bringing the work of our members into the community,” said President and CEO of ArtServe Jaye Abbate.

Gallery 130 at ArtServe will feature “Twelve,” a holiday art pop-up store curated by Peter Meyerhoffer featuring holiday items from 12 distinguished artists, which is on display from December 4–30.  Artworks by painter and visual artist Leo Violette will be shown in Gallery 133 at Artserve.

ArtServe is located at 1350 E. Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale and admission to the gallery is free. Gallery hours are Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. More information is available at www.ArtServe.org or by calling 954-462-8190.
