FORT LAUDERDALE – The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce Hoffman’s Chocolates as the presenting sponsor of the Family Fun series that introduces young audiences to the arts while strengthening reading skills.
Bringing favorite stories from beloved children’s literature alive on stage in enchanting musical adventures, each show includes free pre-show face painting and arts activities along with a complimentary post-show sweet treat from Hoffman’s Chocolates. In addition, the Hoffman’s Chocolates “Sweet Ride” truck will be on site with an assortment of its gourmet chocolates, caramel apples and ice cream for purchase.

The 2016–17 Family Fun Series presented by Hoffman's Chocolates kicked off to enthusiastic audiences at Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny and Pete the Cat. The series continues in the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center with Dorothy Meets Alice or The Wizard of Wonderland (Dec. 10), Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach (Jan. 28), The House at Pooh Corner (April. 1) and Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile (May 6). At the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, the series offers The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Nov. 20) Biscuit the Little Yellow Puppy (Jan. 28) and Havana Hop (April 30).
