Join the Humane Society of Broward County’s new Pet Adoption Ambassador program.  The HSBC, in conjunction with the ASPCA, is pleased to announce an exciting program to help more dogs find forever homes, but its success depends on the active involvement of pet lovers in the community.  This new program is similar to foster care, but goes a step further.  Ambassadors provide temporary homes for select dogs, but unlike foster families, Ambassadors will help maximize their dogs’ availability and exposure to  potential adopters by walking their companions in parks and other pet-friendly, highly visible public venues in their bright orange “Adopt Me” vests.  High School students can partner with an adult family member and even earn their required community service hours through this program.   Those interested can sign up for one of the upcoming orientations at the Humane Society of Broward County, 2070 Griffin Road (a block west of I-95)
