TAMPA, Fla. – SPCA Florida and YouMustLoveDogsDating.com are partnering to host the largest dog festival in Tampa Bay history – You Must Love Dogs Fest “Mix & Mingle.”
While there are many animal-related events throughout the year, Kris Rotonda of You Must Love Dogs Dating feels this event will attract thousands of attendees due to its concept.
“We are definitely pulling out all the stops,” Rotonda says. “Guests can expect live performances from well-known country signers Jessica Lynn and Jo Dee Messina. We will also have friendly dog competitions, a 42-foot doggy diving pool, performances from the World Champion Frisbee Dogs, many children activities such as face painting, interactive inflatables for all ages and more.”
Save the Date – You Must Love Dogs Fest “Mix & Mingle” will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 19 at Raymond James Stadium, south lawn, 4201 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33607.
“We anticipate this will be the first of many events to come,” Rotonda says. “These events not only give pet lovers something to do with their furry friends, but also give the community the opportunity to support the SPCA Florida, which helps animals that are ill at their state-of-the-art medical facility and places pets in new homes from their animal shelter.”
Timothy Bennett, Director of Events, says this will be the largest dog festival produced in Tampa Bay. He expects to draw over 100 vendors that will highlight their products and services, and host multiple activity zones such as a VIP Tent, Beer Tent, Doggy Cooking Network Pavilion, Embrace Doggy Treat Zone, Kids Zone, Hydration Stations, Cool-Down Areas, the Adoption Alley and more.
This is a pet friendly event. If your dog likes to be around other pets and people, they should come. All pets must be on a leash. Any furry friends who need to release some energy can go to designated leash-free zones and run free with the owner's supervision.
