Celebrating the Finest Wines Produced in the United States

To benefit FIU’s Chaplin School of & Hospitality & Tourism Management

Honoring America's wine-making prowess, The American Fine Wine Competition (AFWC) is one of the nation's most prominent and prestigious wine events. Celebrating its upcoming eighth anniversary, the AFWC has partnered with Florida International University (FIU) to host their first annual All-American Wine Gala to benefit Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management.

The highly anticipated fundraiser debuts on the rooftop of the Kovens Center, with a "Sparkling Reception" featuring AFWC medal-winning Sparkling wine, FIU Alum restaurants, and specialty bars. Guests can peruse the silent auction and enjoy the sounds of classical guitar. Following the reception, all 60+ wines will be poured by the AFWC "Wine Angels", during a magnificent dinner prepared by FIU Chef Instructor, Mike Moran. The tribute band Breeze will entertain and a live auction will commence during this time.

SPONSOR: The gala will feature more than 60 wines supplied by Southern Wine & Spirits (SWS), a longtime supporter of the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. To read more about SWS, visit www.southernwine.com
