Fort Lauderdale Firefighters announce Holiday Toy Drive

Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue and the Firefighters Benevolent Association are collecting donations for the 2011 Holiday Toy Drive.

City employees and residents are invited to share the spirit of the holidays by donating new, unwrapped toys for Fort Lauderdale children in need.

Firefighters will wrap and distribute the toys.

Toys may be donated at any Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue Station from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week, now through Friday, December 16th, 2011.

Donations are also being accepted at City Hall, 100 N. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale.
