FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Over 600 of South Florida's hottest social notables, philanthropists and professionals made BeachBash, presented by The Wasie Foundation, Fort Lauderdale's "Sexiest Party of the Year," raising over $100,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on Thursday, November 10th at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six.
Party-goers in the Panorama Ballroom and its terrace danced the night away to the hot vibe of DJ Danny Stern and indulged in cocktails complimentary of Premier Beverage and tasty delicacies from some of the area's most popular restaurants, including East City Grill, Trulucks, Rocco's Tacos, SoLita Italian Restaurant & The Parlor Lounge, Las Olas Wine Cafe, STOP BURGERS, UdderSweets and Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six. The party continued late into the night with an exclusive BeachBash After-Party at the Pier Top at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six.

Congratulations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation who achieved the $100,000 Wasie Foundation Challenge grant. The Wasie Foundation matched the $100,000 raised dollar for dollar.
For the event, the Panorama Ballroom was transformed into a 'bubbly extravaganza' and the outdoor terrace, a mystical underwater sea aquarium.
Guests of the Exclusive Ocean Drive VIP Lounge were treated to delectable baby lamb chops, shrimp cocktail, scallops and tuna tartare courtesy of East City Grill in Weston. Guests in the main ballroom and outside terrace were treated to home-cooked Italian meatballs from SoLita Italian Restaurant & The Parlor Lounge, miso salmon from Truluck's, pork tacos from Rocco's Tacos, gourmet wraps from the Las Olas Wine Café, sliders from STOP Burgers, Caribbean spiced fish tacos from the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six and assorted mini ice cream cones from UdderSweets. Two stunning TechnoMarine watches, donated by Levinson Jewelers on Las Olas, were won during the live auction in addition to a number of other magnificent items that were bid on in the silent auction.
Proceeds from BeachBash, one of the events of The AT&T JEB BUSH Florida Classic sponsored by The Wasie Foundation and presented by Ford and Premier Beverage, benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. BeachBash was also sponsored by Ultimate Software, Clear Channel, Levinson Jewelers, TechnoMarine, Designs by Sean and Aventura Worldwide Transportation Service.
