The six companies -- BankAtlantic, Broward Regional Health Planning Council, Broward Sheriff's Office, City of Oakland Park, Consolidated Credit Counseling, Inc. and Kip Hunter Marketing -- were honored in recognition of the tremendous support and connections that they provide to 2-1-1 Broward and for helping the non-profit organization fulfill its mission and meet its goals.
Broward Health, the presenting sponsor, was represented by Jasmin Shirley, who spoke of the real live connections made as a result of the partnership with 2-1-1 Broward. Ms. Shirley helped present the awards to the honorees. Chuck Mohr, President of Retail Banking with BankAtlantic; Michael De Lucca, President/CEO and David Hughes, Board Chair of Broward Regional Health Planning; Wiley Thompson, Director Of Broward Sheriff's Office, City of Oakland Park Commissioner John Adornato III; Howard Dvorkin, Chairman of Consolidated Credit Counseling, Inc.; and Kip Hunter, CEO and President of Kip Hunter Marketing, accepted the awards and honors on behalf of their organizations. Broadcasting legend Tony Segreto served as emcee and keynote speaker for the event and Sheila Smith, CEO of 2-1-1 Broward, thanked 2-1-1 Broward Partners for all of the hard work, dedication and support that they provide to the organization.
