Fort Lauderdale, FL – September 20, 2017 - On just one day, Wednesday, September 20th, Amnesty International and Sofar Sounds, a global movement of artists and music lovers, are staging simultaneous gigs in 60 countries and literally hundreds of cities worldwide in solidarity with the world's refugees.  The Fort Lauderdale concert will be at a secret space in the MASS District neighborhood.  Guests are encouraged, but not required, to donate to win a pair of tickets to the event.  Tickets are allocated via a prize draw and invited guests will receive an email with the location. All proceeds will go directly to Amnesty's I Welcome campaign. With your help, we will draw attention to the situation faced by those fleeing war and persecution and encourage and empower people everywhere to keep up pressure on governments to honor their humanitarian obligations. 

The Give A Home concerts will be an opportunity to reflect in our shared humanity and strengthen our resolve to tackling this unprecedented humanitarian challenge.
