Fort Lauderdale – The Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale (JLGFL) presents their 2011 Casino Night Fundraiser “Vintage Vegas, Diamonds are Forever” on November 12, 2011 at the GALLERY One Hotel in Fort Lauderdale.

Join community advocates, local business leaders and supporters of the Junior League to enjoy an evening of casino style gaming, complimentary cocktails, light fare, silent auction, raffle items and an exclusive Texas Hold’em poker tournament all to benefit our community projects!

The night will kick off at 7:30 pm with the opportunity for guests to enjoy fantastic cocktails and preview the silent auction. Items in the auction include fabulous vacation getaways, spa packages and more.

Gaming tables. including Blackjack, Craps and Roulette, will open shortly after. The poker tournament will begin promptly at 8 pm in the exclusive ‘Poker Room’. This year’s grand prize for the poker tournament winner is a trip to Las Vegas, which includes round-trip tickets for two, a 3 day 2 night stay at either Bellagio or Caesar’s Palace, plus tickets to Jubilee at Bally’s or Sand Hackett’s Rat Pack at the Las Vegas Hilton courtesy of Vegas.com.

“Vintage Vegas, Diamonds are Forever” is night of fun for a great cause; the funds raised by the event will benefit an array of community projects founded and supported by the JLGFL.

Jack and Jill Children's Center (1942),

Henderson Mental Health Center (1954),

Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale (1958),

Museum of Discovery and Science (1974),

Kids in Distress (1978),

SOS Children's Village (1988),

OUR House (1993) and our latest project

Transitional Independent Living - The FLITE Center founded in 2006.
