NASCAR Sprint Cup Series

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Broward County’s Western High School STEM Solar Car Program students will have a special chance to meet a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver at the Museum of Discovery and Science on Tuesday, September 15, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., as part of Homestead-Miami Speedway’s Chase Across North America.

The Sprint Cup Series driver visiting the Museum of Discovery and Science will compete in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship on November 22 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The driver selected to visit the Museum will be determined after the last race of the regular season at Richmond International Raceway on September 12.

Media interested in covering the event should RSVP to Neal Gulkis, Director of Communications at Homestead-Miami Speedway (305-230-5233 or ngulkis@homesteadmiamispeedway.com) or Cameron Moore, Communications Coordinator (954.713.0904, cmoore@mods.net) no later than September 14.
