Prior to his appointment as President/CEO, Dr. El Sanadi was chief of emergency medicine for Broward Health. His compassion was not only for his patients but for the nurses and doctors that worked side by side with him. In January of 2014, he was elected chairman of the Florida Board of Medicine.
He served as the premier (EMS) medical director for Fort Lauderdale, BSO, Tamarac and Sunrise Fire Departments. He was a certified SWAT team member and SWAT Medical Director for Fort Lauderdale and Broward Sheriff’s Office where he trained with “the boots on the ground”. He worked tirelessly blazing new frontiers in medicine every day for others to follow. He had a true gift that made everyone he encountered feel like they were the most important person in the world.
