OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – Allied Kitchen & Bath, in partnership with International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA), raised $19,000 at “Take a Seat,” an event benefitting Glam-A-THON and Broward Health Foundation to help local women affected by breast cancer. The event was held at Allied Kitchen & Bath’s Design Center in Oakland Park on Thursday, October 13th.

During “Take a Seat,” Allied Kitchen & Bath Executive Vice President Joe Feinberg was recognized by the Glam-A-THON team for his selection as a Glammy Awards Honoree.  Guests participated in a live auction of one-of-a-kind designer chairs created by top furniture designers including Joe Fava, Guillermo Gonzalez, Steve & Mary Grafton, Stephanie Ferguson, David Font and Allison Paladino.

In addition to the live auction, a variety of silent auction items ranging from rounds of golf and hotel stays to jewelry and gift baskets were also up for bid. Guests enjoyed wine, hors d’oeuvres and music by a DJ throughout the evening.

All money raised from the event will benefit Broward Health Foundation through Glam-A-THON, an organization that coordinates fundraising initiatives to help local breast cancer patients. Additional sponsors for the evening included Cosentino, TOTO, Villeroy & Boch and IFDA.
