FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- The Humane Society of Broward County delivered snuggles in the form of puppies on Thursday, June 11 to the Miami Marlins for their players and staff. Snuggle Delivery is a unique program that takes shelter animals to local businesses to help reduce employee stress, engage with the community, increase donations, raise awareness of the shelter and socialize the animals.

This event was also planned to help promote Bark at the Park, which takes place this year on August 2nd at 1:10 PM against the San Diego Padres. Fans can catch a game at Marlins Park with their dog all while supporting the shelter. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of dog tickets benefit the shelter and human tickets are just $15. Tickets must be purchased online and in advance at marlins.com/specialevents.

Book a Snuggle Delivery

For a minimum donation of $250 HSBC staff and volunteers will bring adorable pets to your business.  Those visited so far include an accounting firm (right before tax deadline), a law firm, a charter school, a software company and more.  Not only are the animals helping to relieve stress, but more than 20 have been adopted at the snuggle locations and over $4,000 has been raised for the non-profit shelter.  In addition, all the businesses have collected numerous items from the shelter’s supply wish list.  Proceeds from this service will benefit all the homeless animals at the shelter by providing vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries and more.
