The City of Fort Lauderdale has been working diligently to establish Residential Parking Permit Programs (RPP) in the Beverly Heights and Colee Hammock neighborhoods. I am pleased to announce that effective May 1, 2018 the RPP programs in these two neighborhoods will be officially underway.

The purpose of these programs is to reserve on-street parking for participating neighbors and discourage long-term parking on residential streets located near commercial areas. Please visit the RPP webpage to review the program guidelines for each neighborhood. If you have any questions, please join me tomorrow, April 26, 2018, from 11 a.m. to noon for a quick phone call. To participate, please dial 1-510-338-9438 and enter access code 627 140 958 when prompted.

As part of the new programs, the City has established alternative parking options for employees who work on Las Olas Boulevard. Please visit the RPP webpage for a list of employee parking locations, permit costs, and hours of operation.

I would like to recognize City Manager Lee Feldman, Assistant City Manager Chris Lagerbloom, and Community Builders from the Transportation and Mobility Department and the Strategic Communications Office for their time and dedication to improving the quality of life for our neighbors through these programs.
