The City of Fort Lauderdale Public Works Department, in consultation with the Broward County Public Health Department, HAS LIFTED THE PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE (PBWN) for all water customers in east Fort Lauderdale that live within the following boundaries:
Northern boundary - N.E. 29th Street
Southern boundary - N.E. 28th Street
Eastern boundary - West side of A1A/N. Ocean Boulevard
Western boundary - Intracoastal Waterway
Laboratory results confirm that City of Fort Lauderdale water meets all primary drinking water standards.
The PBWN was issued following a 6-inch water main break that occurred on N.E. 33rd Avenue between N.E. 28th and N.E. 29th Streets on Saturday, January 7th.
