Broward County Public Schools is hosting its seventh Educational Re-engagement Fair in an ongoing effort to help individuals who left high school before earning a diploma achieve this goal. With the theme - it's not too late to graduate" - the program aims to assist individuals of all ages in meeting the requirements needed to receive their diplomas.
The fair will provide participants with valuable and relevant information about education options and training opportunities that meet and fit their specific needs. Assistance, counseling and placement will focus on attaining the high shcool diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma) needed to connect with post secondary opportunities. Attendees will be able to explore a variety of alternative and non-traditional educational programs, including flexible schedules and online courses. Program staff and guidance counselors will be on hand to work with participants in making appropriate choices.
WHEN: Saturday, January 21, 2012, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
