FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- More than 300 PetSetters and guests, sporting their most stylish whites, turned out for The White Party in September at the W Fort Lauderdale.  Event chair, Susan Penrod, is thrilled to report that over $11,700 was raised for the animals!

Arriving guests were greeted by Grace, an HSBC Animal Assisted Therapy dog appropriately decked out in white for the occasion.  From there attendees proceeded along the red carpet for their pre-event photo, courtesy of DB Digital Media.

Once inside the party, guests enjoyed two complimentary cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres donated by Bombay Sapphire, Bud Light Platinum and the W Fort Lauderdale.  DJ Chris Cruz kept the party-goers on their feet with dance tunes.  Guests also had fun with the “Bombay Sapphire Experience” where they learned how to make their own specialty cocktails, mixing the ingredients themselves.  A unique photo op was sponsored by Ferrari-Maserati of Fort Lauderdale, where guests could have a photo taken and then customize it with phrases and designs.  Photos were printed for the guests to take home as mementos.

Prize drawing items included a basket from Bombay Sapphire, a spa & salon package from Bliss Spa and Ted Gibson Salon, and the grand prize package of a one-night stay at the W Fort Lauderdale, VIP table with bottle service at Gerber Group’s Whiskey Blue or Living Room, and a brunch for two at STEAK 954.

To wrap up the evening, an after-party was held on-site at Whiskey Blue, where guests were treated to one more complimentary Bombay Sapphire cocktail!

Many thanks to our fabulous White Party sponsors: W Fort Lauderdale, Bombay Sapphire, Premier Beverage Company, Bud Light Platinum, Stephens Distributing Company, Gerber Group, Whiskey Blue, Ferrari-Maserati of Fort Lauderdale and Purina ONE.
