Fort Lauderdale, Fla.  – B Ocean Resort – a modern oceanfront destination known for its iconic underwater entertainment – is introducing a new family-friendly show, The Coral Reef Mermaid Show, now hosted every Saturday at the world-famous Wreck Bar.

Presented by Trident Tails Entertainment and directed by Leydis Castillo, the live, interactive show follows the story of South Florida mermaids who need to find their magical gadgets in order to return back home. Ella, a mermaid-in-training, wants to help with their quest, but cannot do so until she becomes a full-time mermaid. With the help of King Neptune, Ella completes her training and joins the pod to save our reefs.

As part of B Hotels and Resorts’ B Humane Program, B Ocean Resort’s new production aims to both entertain and educate. The Coral Reef Mermaid Show demonstrates how pollutants harm the ocean’s delicate ecosystems and explains how recycling aids in the continued protection of coral reefs.

The Coral Reef Mermaid show will take place every Saturday at the world-famous Wreck Bar inside B Ocean Resort. The doors open at 11 a.m., and the show starts at 12 p.m. Children from ages 3-12 will be whisked away by the magical production for $45 which includes a $25 credit toward food and beverage during the show. Admission for adults 13 years and older is $55 with a $35 credit toward food and beverage during the show.
