FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – In honor of St. Patty’s Day, the Humane Society of Broward County wants you to get a lot of love for a little green! Adopt any dog or cat one year of age and older and the adoption fee will be half price. The adoption special takes place Tuesday, March 17 and the adoption fee for dogs will be $50 and cats $12.50.

Puppies and kittens get adopted very quickly, but there are many wonderful adult dogs and cats that are often over-looked. You may not find a pot of gold, but you’ll find an even better treasure when you adopt your new best friend at the Humane Society of Broward County.

All pets are spayed or neutered before going home and are micro-chipped. In addition they receive preliminary vaccinations, a 10-day limited health care plan courtesy of VCA Animal Hospitals, dogs over seven months are tested for heartworm, cats are feline leukemia tested. Adopters also receive a bag of Purina ONE pet food and more.
