Fort Lauderdale, FL -- On February 28, 2015 the Humane Society of Broward County will celebrate its 25th Anniversary Walk for the Animals. Last year’s Walk saw 5,000 people and 2,500 of their furry friends unite in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, helping to raise over $520,000 net for the homeless animals of South Florida.
The Walk for the Animals, presented by VCA Animal Hospitals, is the Humane Society of Broward County's largest annual fundraiser. The funds raised from this event help HSBC to continue its mission of helping animals and educating the community. Your participation will help rescue, shelter and care for thousands of animals in need, and help them find good homes.
Don’t miss this year’s event, set to take place on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Huizenga Plaza in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. You don’t need a dog to join in the fun! The walk is a fabulous way to meet fellow animal lovers all while raising money for a great cause. With fun for the whole family and a complimentary pancake breakfast provided by IHOP, this is a great event for all ages!
