New Pups and Tots Program

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The Humane Society of Broward County has a very extensive education department and reaches school aged children through a variety of partnerships and programs to teach them respect and kindness to animals.  A new program just introduced called “Pups and Tots” is reaching even younger children - ages newborn to four years.  The hour long program is filled with animal fun and during the first gathering participants learned how to properly pet a dog, listened to a book reading “Tails Are Not for Pulling” and met education dogs Daisy and Cooper.

Adults and children must be registered for the class to attend.  Cost is $12.00 per adult, per class or one session (6 classes) for $65.00.  Get ready for you and your child to make new friends during an exciting class full of puppy kisses and kitten purrs.  To register visit www.humanebroward.com and go to the “Kids Zone” tab.  For questions please contact Katie at 954-266-6875 or ktutt@hsbroward.com
