Robert and Fredi Consolo with Mark and Robin Levinson and Dan and Claire MarinoFT LAUDERDALE, FL (February 21, 2012) – Levinson Jewelers of Las Olas and Bulgari hosted an exclusive cocktail party on Thursday, February 9th and raised over $25,000 for the UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The exquisite event, which took place at The Villa Grande Club at Porto Vita, was also co-hosted by Fredi and Robert Consolo. Guests were treated to an exclusive viewing of the newest jewelry and timepiece collections from Bulgari. NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback Dan Marino and his wife Claire were in attendance along with other local social notables. Dan and Claire have been Levinson customers since 1983 and are the spokescouple for Levinson Jewelers, one of the leading independent jewelers in the country.
During the event, guests enjoyed a delectable gourmet dinner and a special wine pairing presented by Seth Box, Director of Wine Education at Moet Hennessy. South Florida television personality Tony Segreto was emcee for the evening, which also featured a live auction of a fabulous Bulgari Two Coil Diamond Serpenti Steel Watch with a steel-diamonds case, grey dial and quartz movement (.3 diamond carats), which, with much excitement, sold for $25,000. All proceeds were donated to the UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center whose mission is to reduce the human burden from cancer and other serious illnesses through research, education, prevention, and the delivery of quality patient care.
