FORT LAUDERDALE -- Five of Broward's top business and community leaders are polishing their pliés and parking their inhibitions as they rehearse for the fourth annual "Dancing with the Stars of Broward," the premier fundraiser for The Pantry of Broward. Proceeds from the dinner and dance show will help provide food and other support services to seniors on low, fixed incomes and grandparents raising their grandchildren.

Modeled after the popular national TV show, Dancing with the Stars of Broward pairs each local celebrity with a professional dance instructor. After weeks of rehearsals, each pair will take the stage for two pulse-pounding routines the night of the event, on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 6 p.m. at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

This year's local celebrity dancers are Laurina Anderson, 'The Energy Shifter' life and energy coach; Marc Cannon, senior vice president of corporate communications, AutoNation, Inc.; Susan Renneisen, director of special events, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino; Johnny Williams, managing partner, ProMotion Sports & Entertainment; and Katrina Wright, vice president of community relations, Bank of America.

Tickets, which are $200 per person, are among the season's most popular, so interested guests are encouraged to reserve seats early by calling Terrence Smalley at The Pantry of Broward at 954-358-1481, ext. 113 or ordering online at http://www.thepantryofbroward.org/events/dancing-with-the-stars-of-broward/.

Gale Butler of AutoNation and Ginny Miller of Miller Construction are again teaming to chair this popular production. "Our celebrities and their dance partners bring an incredible level of talent, commitment and passion to their performances every year," said Miller. "It's a high-energy evening of glamour, suspense and audience involvement, all for an important cause."

Judges will include former Dancing with the Stars of Broward celebrity dancers Gary Correll, Jen Klaassens, Traci Miller, Nathalie Pozo, and Twan Russell, who will offer commentary on the performances. The real voices, though, come from the audience members, who can purchase votes for $1 each.

"This event has it all -- drama, intrigue, fast-paced entertainment and stiff competition – and it's vital to The Pantry's mission of helping seniors in need in our county and South Florida," said The Pantry of Broward Board Chairman Steve Adelstein.

Sponsorships also are available by calling Terrence Smalley at 954-358-1481, ext. 113 or Terrence@thepantryofbroward.org. Sponsors include Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, AutoNation, Premier Beverage, Publix, Bimini Boat Yard, Sixth Star Entertainment,

QuinnProQuo and Smith & Knibbs Public Relations.

The Pantry of Broward, a non-profit organization, provides food and other support services to more than 425 clients throughout Broward County. Founded in 2008, The
