FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – CLUB 2-1-1 hosted a fabulous Summer Kick-off Connecting Event for over one hundred and twenty five local business people and members of the community at Truluck’s in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, June 12th. The engaging cocktail party was sponsored by Exults, South Florida’s leading internet marketing company. Guests enjoyed an evening of networking, cocktails and a delicious array of hors d’oeuvres from Truluck’s. Gregory Haile, the board chair for 2-1-1 Broward spoke about the organization’s mission and then introduced Zach Hoffman, the CEO of Exults who spoke a few minutes about Exults commitment to giving back to the community.
CLUB 2-1-1 was created to expand 2-1-1 Broward’s mission of “connecting” by offering exclusive networking opportunities for local professionals and individuals to meet at club-style venues. At the Truluck’s event, fifteen new members joined CLUB 2-1-1, making it 125 members strong. CLUB 2-1-1 also offers members an online source for marketing their business or interest to 2-1-1’s extensive list of email and social media subscribers.
Monies raised through memberships, $211 per year, are used to help support the general operations of 2-1-1 Broward, the community’s only 24/7comprehensive helpline for individuals in our community seeking crisis intervention assistance, emotional support, information and referrals to health and human services in Broward County. In addition to connecting with a unique group of professionals at each event, CLUB 2-1-1 is a great way for individuals to learn more about this valuable resource and how it can assist their employees, families and friends.
