FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- Strutting their furry stuff at October’s “Patterns for PAWS” fashion show and luncheon were several adoptable dogs wearing custom-designed fashions on the runway. Design Center of the Americas was the host site for this annual PAWS fundraiser that always delights the guests with its cuteness factor.
Chaired by Luann Alorro and Tara Forman, the event committee organized an afternoon to be remembered and was thrilled to announce that $24,000 was raised for the animals! In addition to the oh-so-chic doggie models and fashions, there was also a prize drawing for a Girls’ Spa Experience for six from Tease Salon Spa on Location and a custom designer dog bed. Guests enjoyed cocktails, music, and a silent auction, as well as visiting with shelter pets at the mobile adoption area. Centerpieces for the luncheon were made up of custom designer dog beds. These were available in the silent auction, along with the custom designer doggie fashions showcased on the runway.
