FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – “Fifty Shades of Masquerade,” the Halloween fundraiser held by Humane Society of Broward County’s young professionals group PetSet, took place on October 27 at Vibe Las Olas.  The event drew over 300 guests and raised nearly $11,000 for the animals at the shelter.

In describing the evening, PetSet President Nikki Worsnop said, “The PetSet members and guests who came to the Masquerade really got into the spirit!  The costumes were fantastic – some of them were over-the-top in creativity.  It was such a fun way for people to celebrate Halloween while doing something worthwhile for a great cause.”

Guests enjoyed tasty nibbles and two complimentary drinks, including Bud Light Platinum and Bacardi specialty cocktails.  Highlighting the evening was a costume contest, with Liz Dwors and Dave Gralnik taking first place as characters from Boardwalk Empire.
