FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – As the award season approaches, 2-1-1 Broward is pleased to announce that PNC Bank has been named the title sponsor of the non-profit organization’s annual prestigious, non-profit academy awards event which celebrates the hard work, dedication and achievement of Broward County’s local non-profit organizations and its leaders. The 3rd Annual PNC Bank Non-Profit Academy Awards presented by 2-1-1 Broward and hosted by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino awards ceremony, luncheon and after party will take place on Friday, February 22, 2013 beginning at 12:00 Noon at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. The prestigious awards honor the work of Broward County’s non-profit organizations and leaders and the impact they have on the community.

The Non-Profit Academy Awards acknowledge the highest level of achievement, innovation and quality in the non-profit sector. The categories for the 3rd Annual PNC Bank Non-Profit Academy Awards presented by 2-1-1 Broward and hosted by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino include:
· The Wasie Foundation Non-Profit Organization of the Year – Collaboration
· OK Generators Outstanding Non-Profit Board Leader of the Year
· Patriot National Insurance Group, Inc. Non-Profit Organization of the Year – Innovation
· Broward College Outstanding Non-Profit Leader of the Year
· AutoNation Lifetime Achievement Award
· Nova Southeastern University Non-Profit Organization of the Year - The Arts
· Calvin, Giordano & Associates Non-Profit Organization of the Year - Rising Star
· Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Outstanding Non-Profit Organization of the Year
The winners in each category will receive an Academy Award statue and $1000 for each of their non-profit organizations. The other two finalists in each category will be awarded $500 each. Please note that the grants awarded for The Wasie Foundation Non-Profit Organization of the Year - Collaboration category will be divided equally among the collaborating organizations. All other non-profits nominated will be included in the Publix Community Choice Award, which will be decided by votes received from the community. The three finalists for each category will be announced at the VIP Announcement Party Presented by Broward Health on Tuesday, January 10, 2013.

The 3rd Annual PNC Bank Non-Profit Academy Awards presented by 2-1-1 Broward and hosted by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, FL) will begin on Friday, February 22nd with the Berger Singerman Red Carpet Celebration at 12:00 Noon, followed by the luncheon and awards ceremony at 1:00 p.m. and an After Party at 2:30 p.m. Ticket Prices are $75 per person for general admission, $65 for CLUB 2-1-1 Members, and $45 per person for non-profit staff/government representatives. Tables of 10 are $750 and Table Sponsorships are $1000. Tickets for the After Party are $25 per person. Partnership Opportunities ranging from $1,000 to $15,000 are still available. They include unique sponsorships such as Headline Entertainment Sponsor - $15,000; Nominee Reception Sponsor $5,000; Star Sponsor -$2,500 and others.
