FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- The Super Doggie Bowl, held at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa on February 1st, was a fabulous evening of dining, dancing, socializing and fundraising for the Humane Society of Broward County. Organized and flawlessly executed by PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving), the Humane Society's dedicated support organization, the event was presented by AutoNation. Enthusiastic Chairs Gale Butler and Susan Greaton were at the helm of a hardworking committee; they outdid themselves in putting together a Super Doggie Bowl to remember, bringing in over $64,000.

Arriving guests entered the "playing field" through a colorful arch of balloons, where they were greeted by Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders and offered a quick snapshot; at the end of the evening they took home their keepsake photos. Throughout the ensuing cocktail hour, Doggie Bowl guests enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and mingling with the Dolphins Cheerleaders while they placed their bids at a silent auction. They also had the opportunity to purchase prize drawing tickets for the chance to win an 18K White Gold Diamond Knot Ring valued at $6,450, provided by MAYORS. The thoroughly delighted winner was Dawn Dellapina.

Once the Debbie Taylor Band started playing, the ballroom doors opened and guests were able to find their seats – just in time to be entertained by the dazzling routines of the Cheerleaders.

A live auction followed dinner, with guest auctioneer Dr. Harry Moon presiding. Items included a week's stay at a cabin in Telluride, CO.; a Dolphins Training Camp Experience; two tickets to the Naeem Kahn Runway Fashion Show in New York City; a Frederica Golf Club package; the opportunity to drive a Maserati for a weekend; a Caribbean cruise; and a beautiful Roberto Coin bracelet.
Following the auction, the dance floor was opened and the band played on!
