Expect Lane closures and No parking in construction Zone.

The City of Fort Lauderdale is scheduled to start the NE 2nd Street Improvement Project on Monday, September 15, 2014. The project will include the construction of new parking spaces, along with the installation of previous pavers, sidewalks, curbs, swales, sod, and other enhancements on NE 2nd Street between NE 15th and NE 16th Avenues.

Temporary lane closures will be in effect in the construction zone and there will be no parking along NE 2nd Street for the duration of the project. Please note that local access will be maintained; however, motorists should expect delays.

The project is expected to be completed in approximately 90 days.
