The City of Fort Lauderdale will begin construction on Phase 1 of the Street Safety Improvements Project at the intersection of SE 2nd Street and SE 4th Avenue on Monday, July 30, 2018 as part of the City's Downtown Walkability Community Investment Plan. Construction on Phase 1 is expected to be complete by Friday, August 31, 2018.

Traffic Impacts

The intersection at SE 2nd Street and SE 4th Avenue will be closed 24-hours a day, 7 days a week beginning Monday, July 30 through Friday, August 31, 2018. All garage entrances and exits will be accessible. Traffic detours and lane closure updates will be available in LauderStreet, a mobile-friendly map that provides information about current and upcoming road and sidewalk closures in the City.
