Celebrate the great pink bird and Florida kitsch at Flamingo Fest 2015! Flamingo inspired art by local artists is exhibited throughout the botanical gardens along with flamingo and Floridiana arts & crafts vendors, retro music, entertainment, food, contests and more.

The centerpiece of Flamingo Fest 2015 is the gallery exhibition A Flamboyance of Flamingos featuring the artwork of local artists Diane Delorey, Carol Eade, and Francisco Sheuat. Artist Diane Delorey raises the iconic flamingo image from kitsch to collectible, exploring the theme in a variety of media including acrylic, oil, pastel, collage, linocut, watercolors, and mixed media. Carol Eade captures the beauty and grace of the bird in her timeless photographs and Francisco Sheuat's brilliant reworking of aluminum cans has produced exceptional pieces of flamingo pop art sculpture.

Craftsmen and artisans are invited to present their creatively decorated pink flamingo yard ornaments in the Fabulous Flamingo Contest and Flamingo Fest guests are invited to vote for their favorite. Wear your favorite flamingo garb for a chance to win prizes! Admission to Flamingo Fest is $18 ages 12+, $10 ages 3-11, members and children 2 or younger free.  Narrated Tram Tour is Additional.
