WHAT: If you'd like to learn how to propagate your own plants for the garden or your home landscape, head on over to Secret Woods Nature Center in Dania Beach for Propagation Classes, for ages 12 and up. The classes will be offered the second Sunday of the month, November 13 and December 11, from 2 to 3 p.m. The cost is $4 per person.

Participants will learn how to save money by propagating their own plants, which is also a good way to multiply rare or heirloom plants that may not be commercially available. The three classes cover seeds, cuttings, and grafting. These are hands-on classes that will allow participants to take home the new plants they start themselves. November's session focuses on "Cuttings."
