FORT LAUDERDALE, FL  -- PAWS held the perfect holiday fundraiser for the animals at the Humane Society of Broward County with a Holiday Shopping Bazaar at the Lauderdale Yacht Club in early December.  The event was open to the public and PAWS was thrilled to learn that over $7,000 was raised in support of our four-legged friends.
 
From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., attendees enjoyed delicious lite bites and wine while browsing through the glittery, gorgeous array of gifts and goodies presented by local boutiques and businesses.  Holiday shopping for loved ones was definitely on everyone’s mind, though there were plenty of ladies who couldn’t help but purchase an item or two for themselves!
 
Vendors offered a wonderful assortment of tempting treasures including jewelry, pet items, clothing, holiday and home décor, children’s gifts, baked good, sweets and so much more.  All participating vendors donated a portion of their proceeds from the day back to PAWS.  Each vendor also contributed an item to be used in the Chinese Auction, another fun and exciting feature that guests were able to participate in.
 
Adorable Adoption Ambassador Dogs Rosie and Chinchi, a Maltese mix and a Chihuahua, attended the Bazaar in hopes of finding new homes.  They attracted lots of welcome attention and received plenty of kisses and cuddles throughout the day.
