Dog-show-PHOTO-1PAWS President Christy Gumberg with Master of Ceremonies Belkys Nerey of WSVN Channel 7 and U.S. Polo Champion Nic RoldanFort Lauderdale -- The 3rd annual Patterns for PAWS canine fashion show and luncheon, held in October at the exclusive Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA), was a huge success. Event chairs Tari Collins and Michelle DiMarco were delighted to learn that over $25,000 was raised at this fashionable event.

The afternoon began with a cocktail hour that included boutique shopping, a silent auction, a prize drawing and models wearing unique fashions courtesy of Lilac And Lilies. The HSBC also had several adorable animals available for adoption during the course of the event.

When the luncheon kicked off, guests found their seats and admired the beautiful custom-made dog beds displayed in the center of their tables. These great-looking unique centerpieces were available for guests to bid on during the silent auction. After enjoying a delicious gourmet lunch, guests were ready for the main event. Honorary emcees Belkys Nerey of WSVN-TV Channel 7 and Nic Roldan, a U.S. Polo Champion, took the stage and the fashion show was ready to begin! Models and mutts alike strutted down the runway, debuting a collection of couture canine ensembles created by notable interior designers and world renown fabric houses found at DCOTA showrooms. The crowd applauded the beautiful creations and cheered on the adorable four-legged models.
