FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- On Wednesday, January 25, PAWS, an auxiliary of the Humane Society of Broward County, will host its 6th annual Angel PAWS Luncheon and Fashion Show at the Coral Ridge Country Club.  Guests will enjoy an elegant lunch and view some of the season’s latest fashions in women’s wear courtesy of Bloomingdale’s Boca Raton.  Chairperson, Susan Smith, is excited to announce that Jacey Birch from WPLG Channel 10 will be our honorary emcee.
 
The Humane Society of Broward County will be on site offering mobile adoptions. During the cocktail hour, guests will be able to visit with the adoptable pets, adopt a new friend, and shop for items featured in the Shelter’s pet boutique. A few of the puppies from the shelter will also make a special appearance in the fashion show.
 
In addition to the featured fashion show, there will be a silent auction with a selection of vintage items including designer handbags and shoes, jewelry, accessories and more. A prize drawing will also take place, and guests have the chance to win a beautiful GCI Quartz Fashion Watch which includes 183 diamonds, stainless steel case, genuine sapphire crystal, mother-of-pearl dial and 5 interchangeable straps valued at $5,250 and donated by Gem Couture, Inc.; designs by Melody. The 2nd place prize is a Hot Pink Michael Kors Clutch valued at $450 and donated by Bloomingdales’s Boca Raton. Many other fabulous prizes will also be available and winners need not be present to win. Prize drawing tickets are 1 for $50, 2 for $80 or 3 for $100.
