Nova Middle School Law Studies Program students will conduct their next round of moot courts and mock trials. On Thursday, January 5, first year law students will conduct their version of a real and current Supreme Court case (Martel v. Clair). On Friday, January 6 second year law students will conduct a mock murder/manslaughter trial (People v. Carter). In both cases, students will take on the roles of competing attorneys, witnesses, bailiff, reporters and justices. Court sessions will begin at 9:30 a.m.
