Fort Lauderdale, FL – There are many wonderful dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, bunnies and ferrets waiting to be adopted at the Humane Society of Broward County this holiday season. If you can’t adopt, but want to help the homeless animals, the shelter is in need of new toys for the dogs and cats. All toys are appreciated, but those that can be washed and disinfected are most welcomed. Other items on the shelter’s wish list include paper towels, soft treats for dogs, laundry detergent and gift cards to grocery stores to purchase fresh vegetables for the rabbits.
The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road, a block west of I-95 and adoptions open daily at 10 a.m. The shelter is a private, non-profit organization supported by donations and is not affiliated with any local or national organization with a similar name.
