A rehabilitation project is underway on the Andrews Avenue Bridge over the New River. On behalf of the County, the following is updated information about upcoming construction-related traffic impacts:

• As of May 30th, one lane of the bridge in each direction is closed through March 2020.
• From September 9th through October 8th (previously July 8th through August 6th), barring any unforeseen conditions or weather delays, the bridge will be completely closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Posted detour signs will re-route vehicular traffic to SE 3rd Avenue. Boaters will notice minimal impacts to navigation.
